TCC Group Senior Executive Appointments
April 26, 2014TCC Group is pleased to announce the appointments of Capt. Vinay Patwardhan as Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO) and Mr. Michael Yang as Group Chief Commercial Officer (Group CCO).
In his new and expanded role, Capt. Patwardhan will assume full responsibility for the management and operation of the TCC dry bulk and tanker fleets, while Mr. Yang will assume full responsibility for the TCC Group’s strategic development, business development and oversee the Group’s commercial management. Both Group COO and Group CCO will report directly to Group Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kenneth Koo.
Commenting on the appointments, Mr. Koo said, “These appointments reflect the exemplary achievements and valuable contributions that Capt. Vinay and Michael have made to TCC. The critical management of TCC Group’s core assets – our fleet – will be consolidated under Capt. Vinay enabling fleet management quality and standards to be unified and raised, while the Group’s long term business strategy for shipping and other investments will be consolidated under Michael. These appointments, together with the rest of my top executive team, will assist me in my capacity as Group Chairman & Chief Executive Officer to lead TCC with vision, energy and focus to transition into the 2nd Century of our founding and beyond.”
